Admission to all the courses offered at the university is done on the basis of entrance exams and on merit basis. The types of entrance exams candidates must appear as per courses and the selection procedure are listed below:
Ph.D. (Engineering, Science, Management, and English) aspirants are admitted on the basis of the academic performance in UG, PG, written test and interview conducted by Vignan University.
Vignan University Placements 2022 is concluded with 98% placements. Vignan University highest package stood at INR 21 LPA which was offered by Amazon. 10 seats are reserved under sports quota with 75% scholarship for 4 years of study who represented individual/track events at the state or university level. Another 10 seats are reserved with 50% scholarship for 4 years of study who represented individual/track events at the District level.
25% of tuition fee is offered a scholarship to all the SC/ ST admitted students as part of the social responsibility of the institution towards the society.
10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG/ PG programs for those students who studied the qualifying course in Vignan institutions.
20% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG/ PG programs for those students who are a spouse/ son/ daughter of an employee of Vignan’s Deemed to be University.
10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programs for those students who studied/ studying in Vignan’s Deemed to be University.
10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programs for the wards of Children of Armed Personnel.
Scholarships will be applicable for the entire duration of their study, only if the student is promoted with 70% of marks in the preceding year without any backlogs.
Faculty working in Vignan’s Institutions and registered as PT (Part-Time) research scholar will be offered 50% as a scholarship in tuition fees per year for a period of four years from the date of admission.
For selected full-time Ph.D. Scholars, a uniform Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) / stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month for Engineering and Rs.18,000/- for Science, Management and Humanities streams will be provided from the date of admission for a duration of four years or till the date of submission of thesis, whichever is earlier.
