SRM University offers degree and doctoral programs in the discipline of Engineering, Law, Hotel Management, Science and many more. Admission to SRM University is done on the basis of various national and university-based entrance tests like SRMJEEE/ SRMJEEM/ SRMJEEH/ SRMHCAT. In addition to this, the university provides placement assistance to its students. SRM provides Early Admission Mode (EAM) and only applies to SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana campus. campus. SRM University Delhi NCR Sonepat is a private university situated in Sonepat, Haryana. This prestigious university was established in 2013 and is approved by UGC.

SRM University offers B.Tech, LLB (Hons), BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA and BCA courses at the UG level. It offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, LLM, M.Com, MA and M.Sc programs at the PG level. The university also offers various integrated courses and PhD programs in various disciplines.

• Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks to pursue PG courses from the university.
• For M.Tech, a candidate must have passed BE/ B.Tech in the relevant discipline and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• Admission to MBA is also done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT.  
• For Admission to Integrated courses, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum marks of 50% in aggregate.
• For admission to the Ph.D. program, candidates must hold a PG degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.

SRM University offers Ph.D program in 19 disciplines at the Research level.

For Ph.D program, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks. However, an applicant with M.Phil/CSIR-UGC/JRF/NET/SLET in the relevant subject is exempted from the Entrance Test.

Admission will be offered based on performance in the aptitude test conducted by the university (SRMHCAT).

SRM University, Sonepat provides various scholarships. To encourage and support meritorious candidates, SRM University, Sonepat has implemented a very distinctive scholarship program called the ‘SRMH Scholar Search Program’. Under this program, an applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to 100% on the University Tuition Fee. The scholarship offered is applicable for the duration of the program, subject to maintaining the required CGPA. 

Note: All scholarships are subject to availability and are granted on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Category of Scholarships

Chancellor’s Scholarship

This is a prestigious scholarship for academically meritorious candidates, achievers in sports, based on economic background. Candidates applying for Chancellor’s Scholarship must have qualified national level entrance examination SRMHCAT. The meritorious students can also avail School Toppers’ Scholarship on the basis of their merit in XII examination:

• Students with ≥ 95 % in XII examination are eligible for 100% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 92-94.9 % in XII examination are eligible for 75% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 89-91.9% in XII examination are eligible for 50% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 80-88.9 % in XII examination are eligible for 25% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 75-79.9% in XII examination are eligible for 10% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Scholarship from 10-100% is subject to the valid score of SRMHCAT.

The state topper of each board is eligible for 100% Scholarship in tuition fee:

Note: All scholarships will be awarded on first cum first-served basis, as limited scholarships are available. For Industrial collaboration programs in association with IBM, XEBIA, TCS, KPMG etc. maximum scholarship up to 25% on Tuition Fee will be awarded.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship

As per provisions of the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006 clause 35 & 36 SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat, Haryana has implemented the provision of Scholarships for Haryana Domicile Candidates (25% of total seats). The criteria for availing of the scholarship are:

• Rank/ Performance in the National Level Entrance Examination i.e. SRMHCAT only.
• The student must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
• Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be on the basis of minimal academic performance.

Note: It is mandatory for candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile to submit a Domicile certificate at the time of counseling/ admission.

Chancellor Sports Scholarship

SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat has implemented a new scholarship scheme ‘Chancellor’s Sports Scholarship’ to encourage and support meritorious candidates. SRMUH believes in holistic learning and gives importance to each individual student who excels at all spheres of youth life.
